 Good afternoon, We are enjoying the last few days of school!  We did drumming this morning and identified plants we eat. We discovered carrots and potatoes are a root.  We worked on building our cars this morning. Remember to bring recyclable materials to build.  This afternoon, we did gym and recess.  We did typing on the computers and got to use Minecraft Education Edition.  Reminders: Last day of school is June 28th! Report cards will be available online. Printed copies only available by request.

 Please send extra recyclables to school! We will be building cars in the coming few days and need supplies! Please wash anything that may have contained perishable food.  Ideas include, - Egg cartons - Boxes - Empty containers - Plastic bottles. Thanks!

 Good afternoon, We really enjoyed Play Day last week! Thank you to Ms. Sterne for organizing and Parent Council for the freezies! This morning we did reading and the Wordle. We had gym in the morning and then recess.  We did writing about the animal we are researching. We learned how to write an introduction and planned the rest of our writing.  We did 3D shapes in math. We made a cube and a rectangular prism.  This afternoon, we did science. We wrote the definition of a lever and came up with some examples and non-examples.  We did typing practice this afteroon and got to use Minecraft Education for the last 10 minutes of our computer time.  Reminders: Please return permission forms for Human Sexuality ASAP. 

 Good afternoon,  We did reading this morning.  In math we collected the stats for the last game from the Battle of Alberta. Congrats to the Edmonton Oilers! We had recess and ate snack.  We did writing about dental hygiene.  We continued working on simple machines in science.  This afternoon, we had gym with Ms. Sharlach.  We did Mathletics at the end of the day.  An important notice was sent home with students today!

 Good afternoon, We did reading and word games this morning.  We watched a video about friction while we had snack.  After recess, we did math. We made graphs using stats from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  We did a music lesson with Mr. Fisher. We learned about instrument families.  This afternoon we saw the K-3 concert in the gym.  We had recess at the end of the day.  Spring Concert: The Spring Concert will be tomorrow at 6pm. Please arrive between 5:30 and 5:55pm. Mr. Fisher is unable to attend the concert so students will meet in Room 12.  Please pick up your child after the concert has ended from Room 12.  Thanks!

 Good afternoon, We started with reading.  We did the Wordle and had gym this morning.  We did stations in gym.  We did descriptive writing today. We chose a topic to write on.  We read a book about time zones.  This afternoon, we did Ketchup work.  We had some time on Prodigy and Mathletics to end the day.  Reminders: School dance tonight 6-8pm Spring concert May 26th 6pm.
