 Good afternoon, We did reading this morning.  We worked on area and perimeter in math and did some subtraction questions.  We had snack and recess.  After recess, we worked on writing. We continued our comic books or did a new story.  We did science after writing.  This afternoon we had gym with Ms. Sterne. We did belly ball.  We did art after recess. We looked at art by Paul Klee and created pieces inspired by him. We are tying our art to math by finding the perimeter and are of the shapes in our drawing.  Have a great afternoon!

 Good afternoon, We started with reading. We did the Wordle together.  We had music and recess.  We did coding on the computers after recess.  We worked on making inferences in language arts. We looked at a comic strip and asked questions and made inferences.  We read a chapter of our novel to finish the morning.  This afternoon, we read a story called "Rechenka's Eggs." We drew Ukrainian easter eggs. They are called Pysanky. No school tomorrow or Monday! Enjoy your long weekend!

 Good afternoon,  Today we did reading to start the day. We did area and perimeter in math.  After recess, we had snack and watched a Mystery Doug video.  We did writing today. We could write a story or a comic book about a topic of our choice. We talked about how to get our writing to a 4. We learned about carnivorous plants in science.  We read from our novel before lunch. This afternoon we had gym and recess.  We continued our research project until the end of the day. We are working with a partner to research the best pick for Calgary's Bird. We will present our findings next week.   

 Good afternoon, We did coding this morning.  We had snack and did the Wordle. We also did another word game.  We did science. We compared the two plants we are propagating. We have a Spider plant and a Pothos plant.  We noticed several differences.  We are going to vote on Calgary's official bird in our class. We read about each of the birds today.
