Walking Field Trip June 28th

 Hello all,  On the morning of Tuesday June 28th, the grade 4 classes will be going on a walking field trip to Confluence Park.  Please pack a garbage free snack and help your child dress appropriately for the weather and a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen.  If necessary please pack a raincoat instead of an umbrella. Umbrellas could be lost or get broken.  Thank you!

 Good afternoon, We are enjoying the last few days of school!  We did drumming this morning and identified plants we eat. We discovered carrots and potatoes are a root.  We worked on building our cars this morning. Remember to bring recyclable materials to build.  This afternoon, we did gym and recess.  We did typing on the computers and got to use Minecraft Education Edition.  Reminders: Last day of school is June 28th! Report cards will be available online. Printed copies only available by request.

Recyclables!

 Please send extra recyclables to school! We will be building cars in the coming few days and need supplies! Please wash anything that may have contained perishable food.  Ideas include, - Egg cartons - Boxes - Empty containers - Plastic bottles. Thanks!

 Good afternoon, We really enjoyed Play Day last week! Thank you to Ms. Sterne for organizing and Parent Council for the freezies! This morning we did reading and the Wordle. We had gym in the morning and then recess.  We did writing about the animal we are researching. We learned how to write an introduction and planned the rest of our writing.  We did 3D shapes in math. We made a cube and a rectangular prism.  This afternoon, we did science. We wrote the definition of a lever and came up with some examples and non-examples.  We did typing practice this afteroon and got to use Minecraft Education for the last 10 minutes of our computer time.  Reminders: Please return permission forms for Human Sexuality ASAP.
